The March Pop-Up
For the whole of March, Anna Walker London set up shop on Redchurch Street. It's the third time we've been in this little space which now feels like a home from home.
On Thursday 2nd March we had a launch event kindly supported by Fever Tree and Southwestern Distillery. Forrest Food conjured up delicious rhubarb and blood orange gin and tonic cocktails while Luxar provided the fantastic music. A huge thank you to Kate and Tom for bringing the party.
“The Faraday Crossbody”
During the pop-up we launched our newest design - the Faraday Crossbody Bag. Only available to pre-order at the moment, we hope to have this bag in stock online in May/June. Find out more here.
“Inside the Store”
In the early days of AWL I was working as a visual merchandiser at Liberty where we were always working on incredible creative displays and shopfits. So the challenge of putting together a pop-up space is something I love. For this residency I got a bit creative with melamine coated MDF and made us some new props - boxes and risers to display our product on. We use the same shelving system that we have in our stockroom in the store to keep the feel of a working environment. I'm looking forward to continuing to evolve the Anna Walker London shop fit for different spaces and to accommodate new products.
As well as personalising products this time round I also used the space as a temporary workshop; in the quieter moments I could be found making our new Tassel Keyrings and our hugely popular Pencil Case. Sharing these processes of cutting, sewing, burnishing and finishing was really enjoyable.
